qrup (“we”) collects and uses data as described below when you use our dynamic QR code and short-link service.
Account data
When you register, we store your email, a hashed password, and optional name. We use this to authenticate you and to associate your QR codes and scan data with your account.
QR codes and links
We store the slug, destination URL, and optional title for each QR code you create. This data is necessary to provide redirects and QR images.
Scan analytics
When someone scans a QR code or visits a short link, we record: a hashed version of the visitor’s IP (we do not store raw IPs), user agent, referrer, and inferred device type. We use this to show you scan counts, unique-visitor estimates, and basic analytics. We do not sell this data to third parties.
Cookies and storage
We use session cookies for authentication. We may use local storage for preferences (e.g. theme). No third-party advertising cookies are set by us.
Your rights
You can delete your QR codes and associated scan data from the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us (e.g. via the contact method listed on the site).
